Jinaayat Ihraam -
Restrictions of Ihraamno perfume or essence on body or clothes, henna, kohl, spice, makeup
wear sewn clothing (males)(underwear)

no covering face (women)
no removal of hair, shaving or plucking
no cutting of finger nails
no sex or lustful pleasures
no killing of game or pests (lice, ants, cats, birds), violence
no washing of the body because of smell, soap, mouthwash, toothpaste
Compensations for mistakes
excuse
- sadaqa fitr - money or goods to the poor - bad events you did not intend to occur. Some one else does something to break your consecration. Like or not, you are responsible at your own expense & effort.mistake without excuse
- damm - blood sacrifice - by heedlessness & habit, you do something, knowing.flagrant violation
- badana - large blood sacrifice - premeditated, you break the ihraam, paying sadaqa.Example - perfume:
excuse
- getting perfume on you by accident or negligence - perfume rubs off or drips on you through someone else's activity. You must not wear clothing that is scented through soap.mistake - shopping, with your mind off of Hajj, applying attar to see how it smells.
violation - disregarding the requirements on purpose - wearing perfume on purpose - with the intention to pay the compensation, because you have wealth, or just are heedless.
Example - hair

- a hair falls out on its own without your trying, and you notice.mistake - you pull out hairs from head or beard by brushing or pulling on it
violation - you purposefully cut hair or beard for fashion or comfort
Example - bugs

- you accidentally kill a louse or flea or ant by accidentmistake - you kill a bug because of an unconscious action, like scratching
violation - you wash or lay your clothes in the heat & sun, to kill them on purpose, to be rid of them
Example - violence

you push and shove and force issues in order to get to Hajr al-Aswad or Bab Multazheem - this is considered normal as long as you are pursuing religious goals and balance kindness with firmness. Even so, if you get crazy and lose your calmness of mind, then you need to make sadiqa.mistake - you hurt or make someone bleed through rowdiness and ego - through zeal you lose your temper and become angry. It is a mistake as long as you drop it as soon as you notice.
violation - you purposefully oppose an intend bodily harm on anyone or anything in the Miqat. Locking of arms with intention to run over people, or purposeful fighting in order to get to black stone. Any raising of hands to hit or harm anyone by shoving down or hitting. Jamaarat is notorious for this kind or rioting.
Example - sex & blood
excuse
- you kiss or hug somebody of the opposite sex by habit, not intending lustmistake - you enter into passionate behavior between 'Arifat & Qasr & Tawaaf az-Ziyyara; getting injured by fighting or otherwise being rowdy in the Miqat.
violation - doing any action while in menses, have cuts that are bleeding, or having sexual intercourse.
