Awwal Kalima (1)
Laa ilaaha illa allaahu muhammadar rasuwlu ullaah.
No god she, except God He, Muhammad a messenger, God He.

Shahada Kalima (2)
Ash~hadu ‘an laa ilaaha illa allaahu wah~dahu laa shariyka la hu.
Witnessing that no god she except God, He; One, His; no associate with Him.
Wa ash~hadu anna muhammadan ‘ab~du hu wa rasuwluh.
And witnessing surely Muhammad (is) loving/serving His, and messenger, His.

Subhana Kalima (3)
Sub~haan allaahi, wa al-ham~du li illaahi,
Glory (is) God, His, and the praise (is) through God, He.
Wa laa ilaaha illa allaahu, wa allaahu ak~bar.
And no god, her (is) except God, Him, and God,He, (is) greatest!
Wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa bi illaah.
And no might/power and no vigor/strength (is) except by God, He.
Wa huwa al-^aliyyu ul-^azhiym.
And He (is) the Highest, the Tremendous/Lofty/Imposing.

Kalimat al-Tawheyd (4)
Laa ilaaha ill allaahu wah~dahu laa shariyka lah.
No god she, except God, One, He, no associate with Him.
There is no beneficence except the ultimate Benefactor, He is alone in this, being
matchless and unique. It is not possible that anything can be associated with Him, and that
difference is known, accepted, and embraced in knowledge of Reality.
Lahu ul-mul~ku wa lahu ul-hamdu,
With Him (is) the Sovereignty, and with Him (is) the Praiseworthyness,
Through Him comes every circumstance that guides us and prepares us. Accepted is the
fact that only through Him can come any praiseworthy state, and through our mistakes,
and experience we know with certainty, that the only effective approach is through Him.
Yuh~yiy wa yumiytu bi yadihi il-khayri,
Living and dying (is) by a Hand, His,
Only GOD holds in His hands the power to create, and within that is the power to enliven
and depress, to sustain or to reduce, to appear and to disappear. In GOD's hands these
decisions rest, so it is He alone that can fashion this into good and praiseworthy states.
Wa huwa ^alaay kulli shay’in qadiyrun.
And He (is) upon all things, a Causal Power.
GOD has a kind of control where everything is fashioned and controlled by Him. The
nature of this Power is upon everything with no separation or independence.

Kalimat Rawdd al-Khafar (5)
Allaahuma, iniy a^uwdhu bika min ‘an ush~rika bika shaya’aan
God, ours, surely I seek refuge in You from associating with You, created things.
Verily You are the Dominant Power! I ignore all the created things that pose as rival
lords to Your Lordship, preferring to seek Your permanent Grace and not their lesser and
imperfect temptations that are seeking to make me failing and sinful, without hope.
wa anaa a^lamu,wa istagh~firuka bimaa laa a^lamu.
and I know, and proceed (by) Forgivness, Yours, in what not I know.
I swear to this, as I am choosing and proceeding according to my knowledge, as best as I
know how. GOD, keep forgiving and strengthening and raising me, and show me what I do
not know, so I can improve my state, in a manner befit Your knowledge and agreement .
Innaka anta ^aalimu ul-ghaybi wa ash-shahaadat.
Indeed You (are) Knowing the unseen (inner) and the witnessed (outside).
Verily You, by Your tremendous ability to comprehend & guide, know every aspect of
the inner invisible & original consciousness, and every external manifestation in body
and mind and circumstance, that come as examples & lessons, to improve my state.
Tub~tu ^an~hu tabarraa’tu ^an kulli diynin.
Repenting upon Him, (we are) cleared/absolved from every judgement.
Returning my intention upon Him with resolve and awareness, He shows and rectifies and
solidifies me into a correct state, so in every moment I become corrected & redeemed.
Siwaa’ diyn il-islaam.
equivalent (in) the judgement of the submission.
GOD, make this similar and comparable to Your own graces of redemption You accepted
when You rectified and established the original surrender that resulted in perfect peace.
Wa as~lam~tu laka, wa aquwlu:
And I surrender in You, and I say:
So similarly for me, fashion a liberation and surrender to You in that submission of
peace, so I can say of my faith, state and circumstances that:
Laa ilaaha illa allaahu muhammad ar-rasuwl ullaah.
No god she, except God He, Muhammad the messenger, God, his.
There is no worthy power or object of admiration & emulation, except You - oh
Almighty GOD, who exists as that ultimate Power and immutable Purity and extensible
Knowledge and tremendous Mercy of redemption. Make me resemble that highly praised
one, Muhammad. Make my state like his state of service and surrender and peace, so I am
allowed to share in the station of being a messenger and servant of Almighty GOD.

sallaw Allaahu 'alaa Muhammadan.
