I would like to select from Ghazali's Maulood an-Nabiy, some of the mystical portions he took from
Qur'an and from tradition and place them here.
This is an explanation of how the prophets, lights, and qutbs were formed.
These names (sal) explain something of the original quality before work was commenced.

5. Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Aheed.
(Tawrat Holy Name) hayad sacred area, ground, protected private place or field – Howd.
(anatomical - private parts, progenitor, flooded place that is fertile, waters of sex, process of forming
life)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Saabiqun.
138. Foremost/Sempiterna l. – (primal, before now, retired & not for action now)(foundary & cast,
made from some substance according to a pattern)(God made the creation in 6 days and retired on
the 7th)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Sayyid ul-Kawnayni.
185. Master Liege of the 2 Manifestations. – (right & wrong – good & bad)(waste & propriety)

50. Original light.
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu An-najm ul-thaaqibu.
95. the Piercingly Bright Star. (spotlight, guide star, pointer, alignment)

There is the bow allegory. It has 2 points, or ends. On one end is the Sirr or secret (batin), and on
the other is the Siffat, or attributes (zohar). Between them is a connector (wasil) or bow string. This is
what makes the bow useful for shooting arrows (faa'ada). That useful connection that makes things
useful is called the Dhat or Essence (`adl, qist, qismet). The place that binds the 2 sides has a plate,
or lashing (barzakh) that divides the 2 sides, but connects.

Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Rooh ul-qisti.
130. Spirit of the Justice/Equity/ Adjustment. – (qist – fair, equal)(iqsat – more just, fair,
accommodating)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Kafeelun.
124. Guarantor/Providenc e. – (guaranty, warranty, promised condition)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Shafeequn.
125. Tender/Kind. – (ishfaq – mercy, pity)(kind, tender, concerned for)

8. End Time Gatherer. (yawm al-hashir)(returner to the original position)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Makhsoosun bi il-majdi.
159. Distinguished with the Glory.– (jayyid=skilled, efficient, excellent, approved, upraised)

`adl and qist means to apply conditions (haal) according to what is possible and fair. In that there are
goals to be met, and there are a lot of differences between the kinds of lives, it is fair and
accommodating to adjust to this.
For example you would not give grass as food for every creature. You would not place every
creation in air. You would not ask every creation to be a predator. If you asked a fish to breath air,
or a sheep to eat meat, or a plant to run after prey to eat; that would not be correct to the essence of
that creation. So the stupidity is to expect everything to be alike and not consider, ignoring
accommodation.
So the beauty of this is that Allaahu ta'alaa is providence, as-sammad (`azz wa jall) supporting each
according to it's needs secretly, and not what is known by the eye of desire and ego. The instrument
(sal) of this administration is Rasoolallaah (sal), and that is what he (sal) was created for.

Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Mutahharun.
13. Purifier. (mazdar II tahar)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Saahib ul-fadeelati.
163. Possessor of the Original Privilege.
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Daa'in.

Maulood Excerpt - Ghazali
B'ismillaah ir-rahmaan ir-raheem
Fa al-awwalu `ayn al-batin.
Then the First, a source/spring (of) the Hidden.
From the first [lives] [first of the original gathering] made sprung the hidden [lives] [after emergence]
Wa al-akhiru `ayn azhaahir.
And the Last, a source/spring (of) the Manifest.
And from the last [lives] [last of the original gathering] made sprung the outer [lives]
Fa al-batinu mustal·zimu li il-wah·dat il-haqiyyat.
Then the Hidden necessitates by the Oneness, the Truth.
Because they were the first & hidden, they are connected to the One Truth
Wa azh-zhaahiru muq·tadi li il-kath·rati
And the Manifest demands/requires in the abundance (of),
And being last & outer necessitated many countless [lives]
il-`al·miyyati wa al-khal·qiyyat.
Knowledge upon knowledge and forms upon forms
Billions of understandings were needed to fit this myriad creation.
and billions of differing multifarious kinds of forms were needed
fa al-kath·rat ul-`al·miyyatu
Then the abundance (of), the knowledge
And also [with these lives] comes different kinds of knowing, acting, understanding
hiya had·rat il-a'yaan ith-thaabitat
(but) she (is), a presence, the source, the firm/fixed (is)
[the original gathering, the original cause] she is the source and is fixed,
Even though this is propagating so much, the cause remains firm and fixed without fault
il-faa'ilati wa al-qaabilat.
the advancing (out) and the receptive (in)
Active and passive, giving and receiving, male and female
wa al-kath·rat ul-khal·qiyyatu
and the multitude, the creations
[polar opposites are shown] in many kinds of differing created forms
hiya had·rat ul-a'yaan il-khaarijat
she, a presense, the source, the emergence (of),
[the cause, the original gathering] she caused the emergence of forms
il-`aaliyati wa as-saafilat.
the lofty and the lowly.
Both high and low were both forced out equally
thumma lamaa ah·tajaba kullu min haadhih
Then by that covered/ignorant all from this,
Then He caused everything to forget about all the previous events
il-a'yaani `an il-`asm izh-zhaahiri fiyhi
the source upon the Name, The Obvious, in Him,
[this was] caused & supported by His Name and obvious, without question
wa fiy gayrihi
and with (that they are) away/removed (from) Him
And He cast out all of it, away from Himself [as He seen fit to do]
wa lam tumayyiz ish-shar·ra `an khayrihi.
And not seen/distinguished, the bad upon good, His.
And not distinguishing were they bad from good, or even if they were bad or good creations
[they forgot about the before time from where they were born]
wa laa an-nafa'a `an dhayrihi.
And not the raised with the debased.
Neither the ones that were uplifted from those that were [all didn't remember]
hasala fiymaa baynahum ut-tanaazu'u
occurring in that between them, the strife/separation
So they fought about who was right and better [they couldn't remember]

The narrative then goes on to explain the barzakh division and how things were separated by this
great administration and how that led to the last phases of creation where everything that was
expelled was re-absorbed through wisdom and power of Reality, having remembered and
understood itself.
It is basically a picture of how it is going to turn out finally, and I want to keep from explaining too
many points on pre-destination and the reality of Qadir and this level of Dhikr.

Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Qayyimun.
19. Singularly Alone/Straight. (unique-alone- sorted out straight in line)
(al-hayy al-qayyum; the essential inaccessible life, that is unique and by Himself in that condition)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Wahid.
201. Singular/Detached. – (needing nothing, with no comparison, oneness, none like this)
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Mateenun.
70. Stable One.
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Dhu makaanatin.
76. Possessor of Firmness.
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Dhu `izzin.
77. Possessor of Might.
Allaahuma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa man ismuhu Sayyiduna Makhsoosun bi il-`azzi.

salluw allaahu ta'alaa 'alaa khairi khalqi
noor 'arshihi,
an-nabiyyi al-ummiyyi
sayyidina, wa sanadina, wa shafi'na, wa maulana, wa wasil allaahu ta'allaah
nur li il-anwari, sayyid li il-abrarihi, sirr li il-asraarihi
haqq qadiri miqdarihi al-'azheem
